ZEN
PERFORMANCE wins Round 1 - Time Attack
Pro-Class
At the opening round of the UK 2007 Time Attack series,
Team ZEN took 1st place with a 1:14:064
lap of the Donington National Circuit, a NEW
TIME ATTACK RECORD at DONINGTON !!

Team ZEN performed strongly throughout the
weekend, breaking in to the 1minute 15secs
during practice on Saturday and first to break in to the 1minute
14secs during the qualifying sessions on Sunday. The
car was flying through the speed trap at 236kph
Phil
Glew, test driver on Saturday was blown away with the setup
of the car commenting...
"the combination
of power and balance is fantastic. This is not a fast road car,
it performs and handles like a race
car !"
Matt
Allison, winning driver on Sunday remarked...
"driving
was the easy part - what Paul gave me was a thoroughly well-prepared
car that was capable of a winning time !"

The win is a culmination of hundreds of hours of hard work to
build and prepare the shell, the engine and gearbox, not to mention
extensive research & development, time and fine-tuning of
the on-track set-up.
Paul
Blamire is understandably thrilled by the win but feels there
is still more to come from the engine and the chassis...
"to win on
Sunday with just 4 gears is testament to the calibre of driver
but also the level we have reached with this car. The weekend
was marred slightly by problems - with clutch, gearbox and engine
- we know there is so much more to come. This year looks set to
be highly competitive, with all Pro teams putting in creditable
performances"
Team
ZEN would like to thank all their sponsors, contributors and supporters.
A special thankyou to AET for your continued support; the win
