>> AET sponsorship - Scoobynet Project Car

Scoobynet.com is the largest Subaru community in Europe and Asia and needed something special as it's official Project car.......the JDM Spec C.The idea was to take the Spec C from mild road car to wild track weapon. Some 2 years on, the car is well on it's way to being one of the best road legal Impreza's in the UK.

It was finally decided to totally change the engine specification to a 'mighty' blue printed Cosworth 2.5L power plant, and after a number of discussions with various anxilliary manufacturers, namely for the turbo and intercooler, AET picked up the mantle.

"The support, advice and immense enthusiasm we have received from AET, Hyperflow and Turbosmart has been a refreshing change. We can all just hand our money over and receive products, but working with companies like these who have a genuine drive to help, advise and develop towards an end goal is something that not many companies seem willing to take on board"
Shaun Fennings - Scoobynet

After a number of further discussions Scoobynet decided to see what was possible with the standard Subaru position of it's turbo, but move to a front mounted intercooler. AET supplied a hybrid single scroll standard position turbo, which was fed via a Hyperflow inner wing induction kit and Hyperflow 'Monster' FMIC along with a Turbosmart re-circulating dump valve

"The initial results have been awesome !! 400bhp at 1bar & 482bhp at 1.38bar on pump fuel with no additives, with full boost of 1.5bar achieved at 3000rpm. Who needs a 2ltr twin scroll turbo set up.....especially when this is only the beginning of what we are going to test"

Shaun Fennings - Scoobynet

As you can see from the above quotes Scoobynet is very impressed with the power and driveability at such low boost.

"This is only the start and we are really looking forward to further turbo modifications from AET.
Without doubt this car has certainly become worthy of being the official Scoobynet project car. Working with AET has been a god send. It is not often you get a manufacturer that is passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Delivering products that do what they need to without the usual sales bull"

Shaun Fennings - Scoobynet

You will be able to catch the Scoobynet car competing at next months TOTB VI show.
