AET's Andy Nicholls achieved a new European record in his awesome Rover 200 at the recent Peak Performance Test and Tune day at Santa Pod Raceway.
In his Rover 200 Andy achieved a 1/4 mile time of 10.2secs @138mph.

Andy has recently added the awesome new TURBOSMART Race Port BOV, combining with AET's GT35 Ball Bearing turbo unit, together with Turbosmarts Power-Gate 50 external wastegate and e-boost2.

Andy has also posted a new UK diesel record in his VW Golf MK2. The Golf's 1.9 TDi engine is powered by AET's modified VT150 turbo along with a Turbosmart e-boost 2 and Turbosmart Ultragate external wastegate. The car has also benefitted from a tuning session on our Dyno.
Andy recorded a time of 12.5 seconds at the GTi Summer Festival at Santa Pod to claim the title of the fastest
FWD Diesel in the UK to add to his increasing number of titles !!

AET's own Grant Parker was crowned overall winner at the recent Ultimate Street Car Event at Santa Pod 2007


Grant competed in the most competitive
RWD/4WD 2 Power Adders (e.g. turbo & nitrous) Class
and posted a time of 10.4941sec @ 138.05mph, making him a worthy winner in the toughest class of all.

This fully road legal Golf GTi is fitted with a 20V 5cyl Audi Quattro 4WD engine and driveline package that develops over 700bhp via its radical AET turbo setup.
Using a Turbosmart Megasonic BOV, PowerGate 50, e-boost2, custom Hyperflow Intercooler and Catch Can - and aided by a shot of nitrous, it has achieved a best time of 10.3secs on road tyres, and reached a top speed of 189mph, making it the fastest Golf in the world !!!

Peak Alfa's GTV 3.0 24v has recently benefitted from
re-mapping on our superb Dyno facility and has seen an immediate and spectacular change in results.

From nowhere the Alfa has started being competitive in all the recent events, seeing a 4th Place finish at Brands, a win at Silverstone (with a 30sec lead over rest of the field !!) and was leading at Snetterton until a coolant problem forced retirement.



Roger Evans of Peak Alfa quoted -
I have managed to dip under the original lap records for each of these circuits. The mapping has made considerable improvements to the driveability of the car. We shall be back to AET for more set-up work when we do the next round of modifications. This is the first year of racing the modified GTV so we are very optimistic about even more performance improvements next season.

Tony Gilham produced a double win at Silverstone in the latest round of the Volkswagen Racing Cup Season.
Racing in Regal Autosport's MK5 Golf GTi 2.0 TFSi utilising AET's blue printed turbo, Tony took the victory which now sees him leading the competition with only one meeting remaining.
Prompted by turbo reliability issues, Regal Autosport approached AET for a solution, and have been delighted with the results.

Our superb Dyno facility has recently been upgraded and is now capable of producing 2000bhp (1200bhp 2WD, 2000bhp 4WD).

The rear axle has been upgraded to produce an extra 400bhp and therefore enables us to accommodate almost every high performance road or racing vehicle with either 1200bhp FWD or RWD and/or 2000 4WD.

The cell can be booked by the hour, 1/2 or full day for development.
